It is down to good luck more than good judgement that the number of injuries and fatalities have been kept to a minimum. However, without a detailed survey being carried out, the risk to public safety remains extremely high. Surveys can be undertaken by absailing or off suitable platforms. Cursory or intrusive surveys and reports of cavity brickwork can be carried out with the aid of endoscopes. Surveys and reports of other forms of cladding including curtain walling and rainscreen cladding can also be carried out. Advice can be also given on recoverability of expenditure through service charge; or other liabilities under design or contractor collateral warranties. |
