Cost Planning
The financial viability of any scheme is probably the greatest factor in any
construction project. Cost Planning forms an integral part of the project at
pre-contract stage and it is imperative that realistic and accurate costs are
forecasted.
Budget costings are prepared and if approved, a cost plan is produced with
the benefit of an outline design. The cost plan encompasses all individual
elements of a building including services installations, which if approved, is
then updated as the design develops.
Further reviews to the cost plan take place following receipt of tenders;
value engineering; any negotiations and following awarding the building contract
to a principal contractor.
